A private island off the coast of Newfoundland was the perfect setting for Heather & Adrian's quintessential maritime wedding. Every element of the wedding was crafted with love by the couple, their family, or friends: from the handbuilt driftwood arch that they married under, to the handpainted signs, lovingly inscribed by friends.
Alex Stead of Alex Stead Photography did an amazing job capturing the couple amidst the beauty of the awe-inspiring natural surroundings, as well as portraying the heart-warming comfort of marrying in front of your closest friends and family.
While the gorgeous driftwood arches are close to the top of our list, our absolute favourite part to this Atlantic Canada affair? The bonfire, complete with s'mores, of course!>

What a picturesque spot to capture a loving moment. Photography by Alex Stead Photography.
Which way to the bonfire?! What a fun idea!
The arch that Adrian's brother, Christian, built for the couple to marry under. The wooden crates and burlap, used as tables, tied in perfectly with the rest of the decor.
The private island offered plenty of picturesque views to capture the happy couple amidst.
The rustic seaside decor looks oh-so charming against the trees.
A family friend made the cakes and cupcakes, giving the treats an extra bit of sweetness.
The love between these two fills the whole sky.
