Just Like Gram's is owned and operated by Tara Weissbach. This sole trader works out of her studio in Fort St John and supplies cakes all over Northern BC and many to Alberta. Family trained, she began baking with her Grandmother at age 12, hence the business name.

All of Tara's cakes are made from scratch, no mixes are ever used. Many of the fruits are from the local area and the raspberries actually come from her own garden. This means that the quality of Just Like Gram's cakes is the biggest selling point. Also, Tara tries not to replicate designs. Each cake is specifically tailored to the couple with special attention to detail.

The Red Serge Cake shown above was designed by one bride as a Wedding gift to her FH. Tara worked with the bride to craft the perfect Wedding tribute for the groom, a member of the RCMP. Tara is also a member of the Canadian Society of Sugar Artistry, so it's no surprise that all the embellishments on this cake were handmade from sugarpaste.
