There's an old adage about saving the best for last and when it comes to honeymoons, the adage holds true. But what do you do when a honeymoon just isn't in the wedding budget? If you think you need to miss your first trip together as husband and wife just because you can't afford it, think again!

Consider setting up a honeymoon registry at your local travel agency so your wedding guests can help make your trip happen. When you set up any registry, do it early as it is perfectly acceptable and appropriate to mention this on the wedding invitations.

These days, most honeymoon specialists in Canada offer a wedding registry service. Browse through our directory to find the ones who do.

While you're searching, here is a list of the top honeymoon destinations, to get you in the mood :-)

  • The Caribbean Islands - Jamaica, Aruba, Bermuda and St Lucia are the hottest Caribbean honeymoon destinations right now.
