A Wedding Day Survival Kit
There are always little last-minute things and items that you might forget to have on hand for your wedding day. A fun activity for you and your bridesmaids to do is building a wedding day survival kit! It will make your day go SO much smoother!
Here are the items you'll need ... it is suggested that you break it up among the bridal party..
- Chalk (for touching up small marks on your dress)
- Lint roller
- Sewing kit
- Umbrella
- Shoe laces
- Tide pen
- First aid kit
- Magnifying mirror
- Lotion
- Hair spray
- Tweezers
- Advil or Tylenol
- Straight pins
- Kleenex
- Tampons
- Emery board
- Pens + Note pad (for writing your last minute lists and speeches!)
- Static Guard
- Bobby pins
- Hand sanitizer
- Black men's socks (because one of the groomsmen is bound to forget!)
- Disposable razor
- Lip balm
- Q-Tips
- Comb
- Chocolate (there should always be chocolate!)
- Wet wipes
- Panty liners
- Breath mints
- Deodorant
- Scissors
- Clear nail polish
- Safety pins
- Straws (so you can drink without messing up your lipstick)
- Packing tape (fix decorations, remove lint and a million other uses!)
- Scotch tape (tape cards to gifts)
- Dental floss
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Lighter (for lighting candles at the reception)
- List of wedding day phone numbers
- Bottled water
- Snacks
- Cell phone and charger
- Cash, credit cards, driver's license, etc.
- Curling iron
- Nail glue (if you have acrylic or gel nails)
- False eyelash glue
- Panty hose (if you or your bridesmaids are wearing them)
- Spare batteries for your digital camera
- Iron/Steamer (if the hotel or place you're getting ready doesn't have one available for you)
- Miscellaneous medicines: Tums, Immodium, Benadryl, Claritin, Gravol
- Earring backs or extra earrings
- Condoms (For those extra-fun members of the wedding party ... just in case!)
